Terms of Service

These terms apply to everyone who uses Akonpayman: service professionals ("pros") and their customers.
1. What Akonpayman is
Akonpayman is a booking and payment facilitation platform. We are not the provider of any service booked through the platform. Each pro is an independent business and is solely responsible for the services they offer, their quality, safety, licensing and taxes.
2. Bookings
A booking is a direct agreement between the customer and the pro. An appointment is confirmed only after the deposit payment succeeds. Times are shown in the pro's time zone.
3. Deposits
Pros may require a deposit to hold an appointment. The deposit amount is shown before payment and is applied toward the total price. The remaining balance is paid to the pro at the appointment.
4. Refunds and cancellations
Each pro sets their own deposit policy, which is shown on their booking page before payment. Refunds, rescheduling and no-show rules are decided by the pro under that policy. Customers should contact the pro directly. If a pro cancels, the customer should receive a full refund of the deposit.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. The pro is the merchant of record. Akonpayman receives a platform fee from each deposit. We never store full card numbers.
6. Pro responsibilities
Pros must provide accurate information, honor confirmed bookings and their published deposit policy, respond to disputes, and comply with all applicable laws.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Akonpayman for illegal services, fraud, harassment, or to collect payments for services you do not intend to provide.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Akonpayman is not liable for the services provided by pros, disputes between pros and customers, or indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to the platform fees paid in connection with the booking in question.
